Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The KillerEdge website and platform. By creating an account, subscribing or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

The KillerEdge is operated by David Sessford, a sole trader trading as "The KillerEdge" ("we", "us", "our"), based in Blaydon, United Kingdom. You can contact us at david@thekilleredge.com or 07918 051671.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Membership and billing

• Dojo membership costs $67 per month and is billed automatically each month via Stripe until you cancel.
• By subscribing, you authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
• A free tier is available with limited access and no payment required.
• We may change our prices or plans from time to time. If we change the price of an existing subscription, we will give you reasonable advance notice, and the new price will apply from your next billing date.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel your membership at any time. When you cancel, your membership remains active until the end of the current billing period and will not renew after that. You will not be charged again.

Because membership gives you immediate access to digital content and services, payments already made are generally non-refundable once your billing period has started, except where you have a statutory right to a refund or where we agree otherwise. This does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you think you are entitled to a refund, contact us and we will deal with your request fairly and in line with the law.

5. The Backlink Vault & Marketplace

The Backlink Vault provides a list of free-to-claim backlink opportunities and a members' marketplace where members buy and sell link inserts and guest posts from one another.

The KillerEdge provides the marketplace as a venue only. We do not sell placements ourselves, we do not hold or process buyers' funds, and we take no commission on transactions. Each seller sets their own prices and is paid directly by the buyer using the seller's own PayPal. Any order, brief, content, delivery, price and payment is agreed and made directly between the buyer and the seller, and we are not a party to that agreement.

All transactions are solely between the buyer and the seller. Any issue, non-delivery, refund or dispute must be resolved between those members and, where payment was made through PayPal, through PayPal's own buyer/seller protection and dispute processes. Not through The KillerEdge. We accept no liability for the conduct of members, the quality, legality or longevity of any placement, or any payment made between members.

Sellers may only list websites they own or manage, and must confirm this when listing; listing a site you do not own or manage is prohibited and may result in immediate removal and a permanent ban. Members must keep all dealings, messaging and payment on the platform and must not share off-platform contact details to circumvent these terms. We may approve, reject or remove any listing, act on member reports, and suspend members who breach these rules. We do not guarantee acceptance, placement, link longevity or any particular ranking or traffic outcome.

6. Lead Generation

Our Lead Generation partnership is provided under a separate agreement on a revenue-share basis. The specific terms. Including the share and how leads are delivered. Will be set out in that agreement and agreed with you before we begin.

7. Acceptable use

When using The KillerEdge, you agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• send spam or engage in manipulative or "black-hat" tactics through the platform;
• share, resell or redistribute our training, templates or member content outside your own business use;
• share your account with others or attempt to circumvent membership controls;
• disrupt, attack, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

8. Intellectual property

All training, written content, templates, tools and other materials we provide remain the intellectual property of The KillerEdge. While you hold an active membership, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own business purposes. You may not copy, share, resell or publish them without our written permission.

9. No guaranteed results

We share methods, tools and training that we believe are effective, but SEO, AI-search visibility and lead generation depend on many factors outside our control. We do not promise or guarantee any specific rankings, traffic, leads, income or other results. Any examples or case studies are illustrative and are not a guarantee of your results.

10. Third-party services

Our platform relies on third-party services (such as Stripe for payments). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Including your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of profits, loss of business or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and cancel your membership at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or use the service in a way that harms us or other users. If we end your membership without cause, we will refund any period you have paid for but not received.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when they were last revised. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
